		About the President...
	Steve L. Chansin President & CEO Prior to co-founding BayGene® , Steve Chansin headed up the finance, development & administration functions as vice president for a leading manufacturer of biotech instruments headquarter in 'biotech valley' located just south of San Francisco, California. Formerly, Steve held senior level finance positions with a major lodging and hospitality company, including multi-unit responsibilities within their US domestic corporate operations in North America. In the public sector, Chansin worked in California municipal government with oversight responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and served as liaison official for department of public works. He provided planning and oversight for quarterly allotments of funds & encumbrances under the auspices of the controller's budget authority. His professional affiliations include recent past president for the Northern California Chapter of the Hospitality Financial & Technology Professional, "HFTP." He was a member of the World Affairs Council as well as The Commonwealth Club of California. Steve also served on the advisory board of San Francisco State University. Board of Directors Steve L.
